CB Donatello Brown, Valdosta State. Besides sharing a name with a Ninja Turtle, Cardinals receiver John Brown is his nephew.

EDGE Johnathan Calvin, Mississippi State. Calvin’s greatest strength is his hands, as he lacks the length and limited initial speed.

WR Montay Crockett, Georgia State. Crockett’s head coach Trent Miles coached wide receivers in 2000 for the Packers, and his offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski was Mike McCarthy’s first offensive coordinator in Green Bay in 2006.

OL Thomas Evans, Richmond. His grandfather is Frank Lasky, who played two seasons with the New York Giants from 1964 to 1965.

OL Geoff Gray, Manitoba. Gray visited Green Bay before the draft, and told the Winnipeg Sun yesterday he had an agreement to sign with the team pre-arranged.

ILB Cody Heiman, Washburn. The Baileyville, Kansas product played eight-man football in high school, and was featured as a “long shot” prospect in the MMQB.

QB Taysom Hill, BYU. Hill is wildly talented, but unfortunately never reached his full potential due to ill-timed injuries.

DT Izaah Lunsford, Bowling Green. Lunsford was recruited by Dave Clawson (now at Wake Forest), played for Dino Babers (now at Syracuse) and finished his career with Mike Jinks.

OL Adam Pankey, West Virginia. Pankey earned second-team All-Big 12 honors at right guard last year, started at left guard as a junior and left tackle as a sophomore.

WR Aaron Peck, Fresno State. Peck’s friends with Davante Adams, and started his career with the Bulldogs as a tight end.

CB Lenzy Pipkins, Oklahoma State. Played three years with UL-Monroe, where he was known as the hype man and full of energy.

CB David Rivers III, Youngstown State. Had a chance to be a mid-round pick this season, but struggled in 2016 under head coach Bo Pelini.

OL Christian Schneider, UC-Davis. Schneider has an incredible hair style and wants to visit Bora Bora one day.

P Justin Vogel, Miami. Started his college career at Florida before transferring to Miami, where he was one of the best punters in the ACC for three seasons.
