Bryan Bulaga Was A Beast In High School

He wasn't always a world destroyer, but I don't think I'd test him.

As we start training camp, it’s important to keep in mind that every player on the Packers roster was very likely a local legend in their high school days.

Sure, the bottom of the roster guys may not look like much against NFL competition, but they were almost certainly tearing it up on Friday nights in the not too distant past.

That same qualifier applies to the top of the roster, too.

Take, for example, Bryan Bulaga.

The mild mannered right tackle was once an unstoppable force in prep football.

Throughout his career, Bulaga lined up at tackle, tight end, defensive end, and linebacker and absolutely wrecked shop.

He finished his career without ever allowing a sack as a left tackle. He also found time to squeeze in 35 catches for 665 yards, ten touchdowns, and three two point conversions.

On defense, Bulaga recorded 108 tackles and 23 sacks in his senior year alone.
